| Guess what?! I am leaving for China tomorrow morning!! This is the last post on this xanga...I am retiring it. I know this is quite sad and I will miss it too. Because I will be in China where security is important, I have decided to switch to a blogspot blog instead and just start completely over. I will not be able to post overtly Christian posts and will not link to any other sites just for safety. Thanks for putting up with the change. The new blog is: http://www.adventurerkatie.blogspot.com/. Be sure to check out my photos too every once in awhile. http://s28.photobucket.com/albums/c233/pinoykatie/. I am not sure if I can check other people's xangas yet while I am there, so email me instead! I'd love to hear from you. I can hardly believe that this day has come. I have been looking forward to this for so long. China has been on my heart and mind for 4 years now and I've known for 9 months that I was definitely going to China for student teaching. It's so crazy to think I will be there so soon. I don't know why I have been so passionate about China or why God has given me this interest and burden, but I am thrilled that He opened the doors for me to go and am looking forward to how He will use me there and how I can glorify Him all the more. Thanks for your prayers! Awhile back I found some old pictures that are pretty relevant now...kinda funny, huh?

| So...it's probably about time for an update, huh? Well, it's actually really funny that in my last post, I said at the end that those were my plans and 'we'll see what God has in store' because He had AWESOME things in store for me. The rest of my summer was so full of blessings, I cannot even begin to list them all here. It was truely the best summer of my life. Working at ABWE was an amazing experience. I loved being surrounded by such missions-oriented people and I was so spiritually encouraged and challenged by the office staff as well as the other interns in the Quest program. One particular Quester by the name of Luke Neuman had a special impact on me...in fact, we are now dating! God brought us together in such a cool way and even though the timing seems odd from our perspective (I'm still going to China and he has 2 more years of college in CA), we are trusting God that he brought us together at this time for His purpose. It is exciting to begin this journey and look forward to what else God has in store...

| Since the last time I updated:
- I graduated from Cedarville, though I don't have my diploma yet because I still have to do student teaching in the fall.
- My parents came to the States for a month and I have been having a ball hanging out with them.
- I've been studying for the Praxis II which I take in a week.
- I am in Virginia at the moment at Michael's house with my parents enjoying the last few days with them before they go back to Thailand.
In case I don't update again soon:
- After the Praxis, I will hopefully work on my professional portfolio for CU for 2 weeks.
- Then I am headed to Harrisburg, PA to work at ABWE's head office for 6 weeks.
- Then I have a week in which I plan to travel as much as I can for really cheap by myself hopefully seeing Washington DC and NYC one more time and maybe visiting some friends and a brother again.
- Then I will head back to Muncie, IN and put the finishing touches on my portfolio and hand it in, get it approved, say farewell to all my family and friends, pack and head off to China!
Those are my plans....we'll see what God has in store...:)

| What's been up with me lately? Well...I went with Kraig to an awesome concert to see Mat Kearney, with whom I am completely obsessed. I really like field experience now and am so enchanted by my kids. I love them! I also went back to Hilton Head for Easter break with Katie and Mel. It was super fun and extremely warm. We went back to Savannah cuz it's really cool there and we relaxed, ate a lot, slept, and went on a bike ride. On the ride back to CU- I was just awestruck by the beauty of God's creation- it was amazing seeing the changes of Spring and the awesome mountains and trees. It was great. I listened to some worship music and just had a really good time worshipping God and being in awe of Him. It was a really meaningful Easter all together...due to what I've learned this year especially through my Biblestudy. Good times.

| So, I was supposed to post this 12 minutes ago, but anyway...
Today was my last ever college class. I will never sit in an undergraduate class ever again. Very weird feeling...
That means I have 18 more days of Field Experience in Jamestown and 24 more lesson plans to write...
That means graduation is about 29 days away...and I see my parents in 27 days! (and Michael and some long-lost relatives too!)
